“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
St. Andrew Lutheran Church Christian Education will lead children, youth and adults toward faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to become on-mission Christians. As one people in Christ, we seek to use our gifts to share the Good News and to serve the needs of all people in God’s creation.
We are called and challenged to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children, youth and adults experience God’s Love and Grace and see His transforming power in their lives. This is done by forming partnerships with God, parents and families and all God’s children.
The Children’s Ministry curriculum that is utilized is Whirl Lectionary Sunday School. This curriculum is designed to use technology, language and active learning concepts that match 21st-century lifestyles. The goal of this curriculum is to provide thought-provoking, Bible-based learning that combines creativity, collaboration and humor. No matter what challenge, the children in the Whirl curriculum are ready to demonstrate to the children that life in the church is a great place to meet friends, explore the bible and grow in faith.
Arts and crafts classes are taught the last Sunday of every month.

The Adult Ministry curriculum is ever changing. Throughout the year, the class provides studies that are diverse and stimulating. Authors such as Max Lucado, Andy Stanley, John Ortberg, Rick Warren, and Stephen Kendrick, to name a few have provided unique discussions and thought-provoking studies to share their spiritual knowledge and wonderful experiences.
